Image 3 The bear is a symbol for strength, courage and tenacity. I've experienced a lot of trauma and loss in my life however, my stuffed bear, Beary, was always there. I know it's silly but the bear is also known for it's gentleness and companionship. I feel like despite the things I've gone through I can be like a bear. Also my bear covers self harm scars on my shoulders. I wanted to portray a kind and gentle looking bear as another means to express the calmness and gentleness I have with myself in the present day.
